Why TagChoose says AI is not available

An unavailable AI message means Chrome cannot currently provide the on-device model with the requested settings. It does not prevent manual folder selection.

Start with browser and device requirements

Update Google Chrome, check storage and review the official Prompt API requirements. Corporate policies and unsupported browsers may prevent model access.

Automatic tagging requires Chrome’s local model. Choose your folders manually to keep saving while it is unavailable. For specific steps, see TagChoose setup and troubleshooting.
