TagChoose release updates
TagChoose 2.0.0 is available in the Chrome Web Store as of September 14, 2026. This major update rebuilds local AI setup and folder suggestions, makes download and recovery states visible, and keeps manual saving available throughout.
What changes in version 2
Saving adds or updates copies in selected folders and keeps unselected copies. Folder paths distinguish matching names, and existing selections load together with the current page.
Local AI setup has explicit waiting, download and preparation states. Suggestions use exact folder IDs, failed sessions can be retried, and manual saving remains available. Save errors and partial failures are visible.
How to check your version
Open chrome://extensions, find TagChoose and check its version. Chrome normally updates installed extensions automatically after a release is published.

Choose the folders that fit, then find it again in Chrome.
